We have a Doorway collection in reception. This is for those who have been homeless and no longer have any belongings. There is a list below of items doorway need for their starter packs. These packs can help make a house a home for a homeless young person. 

  • Dishes and cutlery ( Can be second hand if in good condition)
  • Pot's and pans ( Can be second hand if in good condition)
  • Cleaning Items 
  • Bed Linen and towels ( Must be new or in like new condition) 
  • Clothing ( Any clothing suitable for young people age 16-25)
  • Long Lasting Food

Collection of sharps boxes

If you have a sharps box at home that needs collecting you can contact the council and they will arrange free collection of this for you. Otherwise you can drop it in to any independent chemist. Please note that Lloyds and Boots pharmacies will not take these off you and they cannot be dropped into surgery.

From 1st April 2016,it is a contractual requirement for the practice to offer online access to all detailed information,i.e.information that is held in a coded form within the patients electronic medical record.We Currently offer online appointments,prescriptions and access to the patient summary.

Plan to meet GMS /PMS 2015-16 contractual requirement for patient online service.

This practice plans to offer the facility for patients to view online,export or print detailed coded information held in their own record this is subject to the necessary NHS GP systems and software being available to the practice.The Practice currently offers the facility for patients to:

Book, view,amend,cancel and print appointments online.

To order online, view and print a list of their repeat prescriptions for drugs, medicines or appliances.

To view online,export or print summary information from their record, relating to medications,allergies,and adverse reactions.

We will publicise and promote our online services to our practice's patients through the practice website,practice waiting room leaflets,posters and the patient participation group.

We will continue to keep our patients informed as our computer supplier is currently working towards making more patient information available for this year.
